After last week’s cup game was abandoned after going 1-0 up after 30 seconds, the ladies were looking to start this game the same way. Unfortunately, we didn’t get off to the same perfect start and it was in fact Hassocks who took the lead in this game.

After conceding, the ladies picked themselves up and showed Hassocks, who play in the league above, exactly what they’re about when Kelsei Arnold poked the ball into the back of the net to equalise. 1-1 half time.

The Ladies didn’t back down in the second half and put the game to bed when Kelsei finished off her hat trick to make it 3-1. Megan Hoare then took the ball round the keeper to slot the ball into an empty net. 4-1.

The Ladies progress into the quarter finals of the cup where they will face Broadbridge Heath.
