The Ladies came up against a well organised Worthing team this afternoon and soon felt the pressure. An early goal from them immediately put the Ladies on the back foot. Worthing had a few more chances but couldn’t convert after some good saves from Danni Cutler. Soon the Ladies kicked into gear and got going. An out swinging corner landed at the feet of Molly Rimmer who tucked it straight into the bottom corner. Not long after, a long ball over the top and a great run from Megan Hoare who slotted home gave us the advantage. 1-2 half time.
The Ladies were determined not to let Worthing get an equaliser and kept them at bay nicely. The next goal was crucial. A drop ball played towards the edge of the box was met perfectly again by Megan Hoare who unknowingly headed the ball over the keeper and into the back of the net after a knock to the face. To finish the game off nicely, Keslei Arnold took on a few defenders and put in a beautiful cross which was met nicely by Scarlett Cousins who put the ball in the back of the net on her full debut.
That’s 4 league wins from 4!
