TD SHipley 3s lost for the first time this season by conceding a staggering four goals in the last 15 minutes of the game. For the first sixty minutes of the game TD had played with assertiveness and a clinical streak that has been apparent throughout the campaign so far.
Brockham Reserves took the lead with a fortuitous first goal beating Jim from distance, however TD struck back straight away with the impressive Abid scoring his first goal of the season for TD. Directly after their changes TD took a 1-2 lead, Shane flicking on a long kick from Jik to release Adam who calmly lobbed the GK. At the half time whistle TD went into the break with a sense of achievement, however disappointed they had conceded their first goal.
The second half started with Brockham pushing forward, however TD stayed disciplined and with Tom showing plenty of energy in CM TD hit Brockham with a well worked third goal, George playing mark through for his first league goal with a lob over the keeper. The game seened to be heading towards a stalemate in the last quarter, however injuries to George and Deep resulted in some unexpected changes to the TD tactics. With Brockham pushing for goals and TD not showing the same shape or discipline as in the first seventy five minutes, Brockham scored four goals to take the victory.
An extremely disappointing outcome to a game TD had dominated for large parts.
