The Dragons played with assurance and quality on the 3G at ICC against a strong Oakwood team.

Chances fell for both sides but TD looked after the ball better and looked like they were in control, however Oakwood showed that they could cause problems with their quick direct counter attacks.

The game sparked into life on 20 when a cross from the TD right flank was handled by an Oakwood defender and a penalty was awarded. Joe Bacon duly obliged as he has done every time from the spot for a long time now.
Within a minute TD had doubled their lead with the best goal of the game, Freddie Ward playing a brilliant ball into the left flank for Luca to run onto, Luca then spotting the run of Freddie and crossing into his path, Freddie hitting first time and finding the net with an arrowed drive, Great Goal.

Oakwood tried to apply pressure but the TD defence stood firm with Archie, Dicko, Jake, Olly and Aaron all playing with immense concentration and solidity.

TD managed the game in the 2nd half working tirelessly throughout, from front to back, it wasn't til late on when further goals were registered when a mazy run from Hayden into the box and a nice cross found the run of Seb to poke home and effectively settle the game.
