Dragons on Fire Again at Oriel

The Dragons couldn't have started any brighter with Ashden picking up where he left off last time out, by scoring within a minute to settle the early nerves.
Good work by Luca down the left flank ended with Jai poking home from close range to add the 2nd and another Luca marauding run down the left was turned in by an unlucky defender to make it 3. Landon burst into the box to get on the end of a good cross to steer home his first and TDs 4th before the half time break.

As the Smallfield boys tired in the 2nd half the Dragons controlled the ball even more and switched play beautifully with their purposeful 1 and 2 touch passing game. Some of the patterns of play was a joy to watch and resulted in many chances for the home side.

The Smallfield goalkeeper made a string of fine saves but further goals from Iyad, Landon and a Jai double to give him a hat-trick completed the scoring for the dragons.

The Smallfield boys did have their chance to celebrate when pouncing on a mistake to grab a consolation goal for their efforts.
