Dragons start 24 with a Win

The Dragons fell behind to an OG in this Derby match at Oriel.

Clinical Training worked their socks off to press the TD boys who tried to dominate the ball. After a few weeks out over the xmas break there was a fair bit of rustyness in the TD play but the intentions were right.

Just before half time TD split the Clinical defence and Jai made no mistake on his return to draw the scores level at the break.

HT: 1-1

The 2nd half continued in the same vein with TD trying to play and the Clinical press not allowing TD to have it all their own way.

The Dragons showed great patience and perseverance to keep playing our way and eventually after 59, a corner was directed in by an unlucky Clinical defender to put the Dragons 2-1 up. This knocked the Clinical boys and the Dragons turned up the heat, scoring 2 quick goals to take the game away from Clinical. Firstly Jack fired in after a great defence splitting ball from Blu and then Iyad lashed home to give the Dragons daylight in the score.

In the final minutes a mistake at the back led to a Clinical goal just before time.
