The Dragons showed respect for the champions of the division giving them a Guard of Honour they deserved for winning the title but when the whistle signalled the start of the game, the Dragons wanted to show that they could go toe to toe with them.

The game was played at the fantastic setting of Langley Sports 3G and both teams played a game with real quality both looking to play neat and tidy passing football. TD settled well and matched the qualities of the home side throughout the half.

The midfield and defence battling well and when Borough did break through Archie sweeping up with real calmness.

A good move from Borough saw them break the deadlock but TD did not feel sorry for themselves but the goal acted as additional encouragement for the Dragons to give more. Jai ran clean through but the keeper denied well and we had a couple of other half chances before, from a corner the ball broke to Blu who lashed into the the top left to equal the scores.

Ashden had been asked to man mark the leagues top scorer and he kept him quiet for most of the half, doing a fantastic job, a job that many teams had not been able to do but the marksman showed his class when he broke through once and finished well to restore Borough's lead.

HT: 1-2

In the 2nd half it was TD that forced the play and had the best chances to score, Frankie smashed a free kick onto the cross bar with the keeper beaten and Jack also hit the bar from another Free Kick.

The Dragons gave everything to try to draw level again but could not breach the Borough defence.

The game ended with TD on the losing side but this could even have been better for the Dragons.
