A solid performance from the Dragons all over the park was key to winning this encounter against a very good technical Peacehaven Side.
Archie, Blu and Charlie commanded the defence and closed the door on any Peacehaven attack and this allowed the midfield and forwards to do their work higher up the pitch.
The boys pressed from the front and after a back pass, Jack pressed the keeper who was unfortunate but gifted Jack a tap in to open the scoring.
The Dragons tails were up, and good 1 and 2 touch passing opened up opportunities throughout the half.
Jack passed through to Ashden to race clear and finish well to continue his great run of scoring recently and the Dragons never looked back.
Blue scored another worldy smash from distance and Jai finished off well to complete the first half scoring.
HT: 4-0
The second half did see Peacehaven raise their game and make things harder for the Dragons but with a mountain to climb it always looked a difficult task for the away team to get back into the game.
On 48 A fine run by Hayden ended with an unlucky Peacehaven defender poking into his own net however this rallied the Peacehaven boys and they responded with a goal of their own.
As the game drew towards a close Ashden grabbed his 2nd as did Jack.
This truely was a fine display from the boys with a variety of great different aspects of football, we were strong and physical, we were calm on the ball, we had great interchange and passing, we were solid at the back, very creative in midfield and clinical in front of goal, all in all a very good mixture of aspects needed in the game.
FT: 7-1
MOM: Joint between Blu and Charlie - Well marshalled from the back
