The Dragons got off to a slow start as Hove popped the ball around with poise and purpose.
Minutes in it was clear that there was going to be a lot of defending to do, as Hove moved the ball through our midfield and defence with ease.
A well delivered corner found its way into the TD net for the lead despite last ditch defending from our entire back 5.
Our busiest player seemed to be Archie and his solid handling and excellent distribution kept the scoreline down.
Two further Hove goals before half time effectively killed off the tie and was probably a fair reflection on the game but the TD boys gave their all, desperate to stay in the tie.
HT: 0-3
A 4th Hove goal soon after half time added more daylight to the score line but maybe the Hove boys relaxed too much, as a nice through ball from Harry G was finished off nicely by Jack to add a TD goal to the scoresheet followed minutes later by a fine strike by Ashden to bring the game back to 2-4.
TD needed to stand firm for a while but couldn't, 2 further goals extended the lead back to 4 goals and in truth took the spirit away from the Dragons, the game was well and truly over apart from 4 further goals from Hove as the Dragon's tired.
FT: 2-10
MOM: Archie had lots to do and prevented the score line from being double what it was, excellent distibution, good saves and solid handling.
Well done Archie.
