A bare 9 Dragon Side ravaged with illness and unavailability travelled to Eastbourne to play the Sovereign Saints and finally recorded their first ever League win worth 3 POINTS.
Although the Dragons made us wait and even gave the Saints a head start and a first half lead before raining chance after chance on the Saints goal.
Even at half time the Saints supporters had already named the Saints goalkeeper MOM as he saved multiple shots and kept a fist half clean sheet.
HT: 0-1
In the second half the chances continued to flow and eventually we drew level when Jack lashed a drive into the top left giving the keeper no chance this time. The keeper continued to frustrate the Dragons but Frankie smashed home our 2nd to give us the lead which we would not surrender.
Ashden hit the post and bar before Hayden was dragged to the floor for the very able ref to give a late penalty. Harry tucked it away but the keeper did get a hand to it.
FT: 1-3
Avery good team display from the Dragons.
MOM: Alfie faultless defending and distribution going forward.
