The Dragons started brightly and passed the ball around nicely, the Dragons looked to be in control and took the lead after good work down the right ended with a cross to Frankie coming into the back post to finish well.
Hove Rivervale woke up and got back into he game, the speedy left winger and the dribbling midfielder causing the Dragons problems with their direct running.
However the Dragons scored 2 x goals on the breakaway when Ashden broke free, drove to the area and finished nicely.

HT: 3-2

For the 2nd week running the Dragons second half performance was not as good as their first. From 3-2 down Rivervale drove through TDs midfield and defence to score 3 goals and take a 5-3 lead. TD helping out the Rivervale forwards on a couple of occasions.
However the TD Dragon spirit and never say die attitude was there for all to see and another breakway goal by Ashden completing his hat-trick, followed by Ed blasting in from close range from a corner drew the Dragons level.

With minutes to go and the game in the balance it was Rivervale who grabbed the 3 points with yet another forceful run which we couldn't stop.
