The Dragons, controlled this game for 50 mins then threw away the points in a 5 minute wobble.

Starting well and showing control and great passing the Dragons knocked on the Eastbourne door time and time again without creating clear opportunities until Hayden got in down the left flank and finished well for the dragons first official goal of the season.

Eastbourne always carried a threat and the Dragons had to be aware of this Blu, Alfie and Harry defending with class throughout the first half.
Seb and Joe winning the midfield battle in and out of possession and with Jack and Hayden offering outlets out wide.

Substitutions hampered the Dragons fluidity but TD doubled their lead and added a third with similar goals, firstly Seb then Frankie both scored with long range shots from outside of the box after good work in front of them.

The game seemed to be ours but a converted penalty gave Eastbourne hope and with their tails up they took advantage of some poor play to grab a 2nd and then an equalising 3rd.

The Dragons finished the game stronger and could have nicked the points when Ashden and Joe both came close but it wasn't to be and we had to settle for our first ever point, not 3.
