Dragons Progress in the Cup

The Dragons played very well against a Horley side who are well matched to the Dragons themselves.

For the 2nd time in 2 weeks Olly D got us off to a flyer after good work from Jake M and Alfie S and a good cross from Jack H.

Horley pressed and equalised a minute later when the Dragons failed to clear the ball from the box and the Horley player reacted first to poke home.

In the 2nd half the Dragons were the most likely but Horley did have their moments, on a couple of occasions TD broke clear only to misplace the final pass, until a through ball from Harry got Olly D away to dispatch past the keeper this time.

The Dragons concentrated and defended superbly to see out the game and get their name into the pot for the next round. Ashden, Thomas and Brandon in good form and Ollie C clearing up any chances that did sneak through.
