Dragons Whip Up a Storm

TD Dragons put on their best performance of the Season to put 7 goals past a talented Galaxy Team.

The game started very evenly with the Galaxy Players looking very confident and comfortable on the ball. The Dragons pressed as only they can and pushed back the Storm. A corner kick was cleared back to Jake who drilled a cross back across the goal only to be turned in a by a defender who got an unlucky touch.

The Dragons grew in confidence and the Storm looked shell shocked, soon after a nice ball through saw Jake clean through and he ran on and dispatched a fierce drive into the top left hand corner of the goal, a super strike. Lightning struck twice and a similar move saw Jake away again with the same outcome.

The Dragons had a good half time advantage, 3-0.

The next goal of the game was always going to be decisive and it was the Dragons and Jake again who struck.

The storm lost all of their confidence and shape and the game was now one way traffic.

Olle C not having too much to do but again kept his concentration well and was neat and tidy in everything he did.

Ashden, Alfie, & Thomas pressed with intent, Harry Jack and Brandon were neat and tidy and Olly D desperately searched for a goal of his own.

This didn't take too long to come and like busses, twice Olly D was clean through with not even a keeper to beat, both times Olly finding the unattended net.

The Dragons themselves poured forward and lost a little of their own shape, which allowed the Storm to nick a goal which hadn't seemed on the cards.

Jake wrapped up the scoring with a 4th goal on a great day for the boys.

The Storm were a good side but the Dragons put them to the sword.

7-1 sounds easy but it wasn't at all and the Storm have some good technical players, the Dragons just strangled their space and powered over them.

MOM: Ashden Attwater - Imperious at the back again.
