The Dragons largely controlled the game against a tricky Horley side, with the Horley keeper pulling of a string of saves to deny the Dragons.
Jake clattered the crossbar after a good passing move by the dragons and Jack couldn't keep a fierce drive from a corner down during a first half where TD just couldn't turn their dominance into a good goalscoring opportunity.
Just into the 2nd half another Dragons move ended with the ball being tee'd up for Harry to blast a rocket past the Horley keeper, who again got a hand to the shot but couldn't keep it out this time.
Unfortunately for the Dragons this was the signal for the Royals to dig deep and up their game resulting in a corner which wasn't cleared being turned in by a Royal striker.
The Dragons turned up the heat themselves breaking through the Royals defence on numerous occasions, Olly D streaming clear to score twice in similar fashion although further chances fell to Olly, Jake, Alfie and Thomas twice.
The Dragons may not have had their shooting boots on but were much the better side in this encounter and Horley, had their keeper and the woodwork to thank for keeping the scoreline as it was.
Ollie Crook showed excellent concentration and decision making again, and both Ashden and Brandon continued to show excellent defending stopping almost all Horley attacks.
MOM: Jake, great work going forward, good passing and driving into Horley territory, unlucky not to score on a few occasions.
