Southdown Rovers provided the young Dragons with their most physical test yet and the Dragons came out on top.
The boys met fire with fire and tackled as tough as Rovers did, certainly a new experience for the boys.
From back to front the boys played extremely well with Ollie C pulling off a string of great saves and playing with excellent concentration.
Ashden was his imperious best at the back, Brandon played with his usual calmness and composure, Thomas with his tough tackling.
Harry, Jack and Alfie all provided assistance defensively when required but also gave us threat going forward.
Jake and Olly caused Rovers problems constantly, in the 2nd half Rovers management put their best 2 players in defence to try to stop our threat.
The first goal came after a good move down the left came to Jack on the right of the goal who drove the ball back across the keeper and he couldn't stop it from going in. The 2nd goal was a back to front move with excellent passing down our right flank finished well by Jake.
Our 3rd goal came from Ollie in goal he kicked out and the dragons broke quickly with Alfie breaking forward to score yet another good Dragons goal.
HT 3-1
2nd half was tightly contested but a Dragons Corner led to a defender heading into his own net.
The dragons held on well for a hard faught win.
This win closing our September fixtures with 6 wins from 6 games.
