With confidence flowing through the TD team after their last outing. The team was full of optimism and looking to get a positive result away to Waters field the home of the current premiership champions. A team only not playing higher due to a lack of facilities. TD had a game plan and followed it to the letter as they had Watersfield on the back foot instantly. Leon was causing havoc down the right hand side, the back 3 pushed high and allowed no space as the rest of the team committed to the high press. Watersfield looked shocked as they had no time to put their foot on the ball and play. With TD in control and Watersfield rattled the away side went to plan B, late tackles ,little bits off the ball, the dark arts were in full view for everyone to see, besides the ref, as Watersfield were not subtle about it. Leon took a slap so obvious it was straight out of WWE followed by a two footer like a 2 year old in bright orange wellies jumping into a puddle. The gaffer took Umbridge and asked the ref to look at things a little closer. To all those in attendance it was a surprise to see the red card brandished and the gaffer sent away. TD didn't allow this to break there stride. With Deano at the helm TD kept Watersfield pinned back only escaping with the rare panicked long ball. It was on the 29th min Reece tapped in from close range, his 4th in 5 games and Much to Senras delight. I'm sure he said "just listen to me Reece". Watersfield didn't really create much but looked dangerous from set pieces and so it was a horribly flighted ball whipped and dipped with the wind from a corner straight into the top corner in the 47th min.

HT 1-1

Watersfields gaffer could be heard going potty in the opposing dressing room. Clearly not happy. TD needed to remain calm and continue what they were doing. The second half started and Watersfield came out firing a little sharper and a lot better in possession of the football. The second half turned into a really good game of football. both sides playing quick bright football, both working incredibly hard. A watersfield supporter said "if I didn't know any different Id say this was a title deciding game, how are TD bottom they are the best side we have played all season". It was a horrible twist of fate or incompetent refereeing. As a Waterfield player tripped pushing Acton who tripped and fell into the on rushing Watersfield striker . Whistle blown ,penalty given. Watersfield number 15 smashed his penalty with confidence and brought Charmans 5 pen save in a row to an end. In the final 10 minutes of the game TD threw every thing at it , Senra, Mario, Gary, Reece all going close. As Millard ,Acton and Nathen completely nullified the Watersfield attack. Watersfield resulted to time wasting, booting the ball away anything they could think of to run the clock down. Some might say a win at all costs mentality On the 44 min TD broke on Watersfield and it looked promising only for the ref to blow up early. TD players were incensed and felt a real sense of injustice. Compliments came from Watersfields managment, players and supporters which was little consolation to the TD players.

FT 2-1 to Waterfield

Gaffer said" This team is ever evolving ,We are in a better place than we were at the the beginning of the season. we have all the ingredients and great performances. but we have to turn this into points soon. I 100% believe these boys will do that"
