Matchday 12
SCFL Div 2
22/11/25
TDs next game see the Dragons head up to Rudgwick for the 1st return fixture of the season having already met on the opening day. The reds coming out on top that day thanks to an injury prone Brad Curtis winner and although Rudgwick took the lead that day, they managed to frustrate the Dragons by sitting very deep. TD perhaps did not create a hatful of chances unlike recent weeks but the result could have been a lot easier.
Since the opening day the squad has been further strengthened with the arrivals of Ash Rycroft, Ash Dugdale, Oli Barton-Hague and most notably Max Furber who since joining from Rudgwick in September has slotted in seamlessly netting 5 in 10 and played a key role in recent games. Max scored for the opposing team on the opening day and he will certainly want to continue his recent form against his former side.
Rudgwick find themselves 3rd from bottom on 7 points but if results are looked at closely, you can see the games have been close. 5 of the 10 losses have all come by 1 goal so this game cannot be taken lightly by Scott Howe’s men.
TD come into the game 15 wins on the bounce in all competitions and hope to continue that run with a massive game Vs Hailsham up next weekend.
The Dragons are forced into two changes from last week’s squad with Jerome Johnston & Mark Fox unavailable. Rob Woodward & Ash Rycroft come in.
