Dragons Exit the Cup at the Green

The Dragons were under par and the home side took full advantage to dump out the Premier League leaders.

The slope and soft pitch did not suit the Dragons but its no excuse, you need to be able to adapt to the conditions which on this occasion we could not.

The first half was a largely uneventful affair with few chances for both sides, in fairness TD did clear off of the line to keep out the Wisborough Green from taking the lead.

HT: 0-0

Although TD dominated possession they could not create good chances and the home side defended really well.

Wisborough Green took the lead when a stray pass was lashed home. The home side doubled their lead when striking well from outside of the box.

TD pulled one back when Adam latched onto a loose ball in the box to reduce the lead.

Chance after chance came and went with the ball spending as much time off the park behind the goal as on it, but crucially not inside the Wisborough net!

The game was sealed when Wisborough score a 3rd with minutes to go, to confirm the win.
