Dragons edge Barns Green in Late Show

The Dragons were slow out of the blocks and Barns Green took the game to the hosts in the early exchanges.

TD gave the ball away with regularity which fuelled the Barns Green momentum. However the balance of play did not result in any change to the scoreboard. As the half drew to its conclusion it was TD who had gained some of the momentum back, getting the ball down, under more control and shifting the play.

The 2nd half saw more of the same but as the Barns Green players tired, TD took greater control of the match, but without taking some of the chances which came their way.

As the game wore on, TD changed their formation and took greater risks, this seemed like it was going to result in a loss when on 75, Barns Green profited from a slice of luck as the ball pin-balled around, landing at a Barns Green players feet in the box, and he made no mistake to give the visitors the lead.

The Dragons did not give up hope and as the visitor tired more TD started to get more chances and on 82 drew level when Adam finished to give the spectators a grandstand finish.

On 88, Adam lashed home his and TDs 2nd to seal the 3 points for the hosts.
