On the sticky slope at Barns Green the Dragons dominated the ball and dictated the game from the outset.
However the experienced Barns Green side kept a good shape and restricted the Dragons to a few half chances.
A driving run from Jerome followed by a good gamble by the skipper Millsy saw the ball recycled back out to Taylor who fired in at the front post to give the Dragons the important lead going into the break.
HT: 1-0
Going up slope 2nd half the TD still controlled the game but the killer second goal proved elusive, although the chances were coming with more regularity than in the first period.
Another gambled run from the skipper into the box paid dividends as a good cross from Toby landed at the right place, and Millsy took a good touch to take the ball down and smashed home with his 2nd to seal the deal for the Dragons.
FT: 2-0
