Dragons Fire too Hot for Rudgwick

The Dragons played some scintillating football on the slick 3G against a confident Rudgwick team and created some good chances in the first half , but the Rudgwick GK was in fine form to deny the TD forwards.

It was Rudgwick who took the lead when their winger cut inside and bent into the far corner, good strike to be fair!

TD's heads did not drop and a bursting run forwards from the skipper and a 1-2 on the edge with Adam saw Millsy drive into the box and finish with aplom.

A share of the spoils at HT was no more than TD deserved.

HT: 1-1

A good run down the left flank from Toby and a nasty cross was diverted into his own net by a Rudgwick defender to give TD the lead, however a penalty was awarded to Rudgwick and converted to level the score once more.

The 'Toby Show' then started with the winger continuing his fine form, scoring a 2nd half brace to give TD a 2 goal cushion which they would not give up.

A solid performance against a plucky side and a valuable 3 points for the Dragons.
